No need for "proof of income" or to wait to see if your loan is approved. You are guaranteed approval. The loan is secured by the funds you have in your savings account or in your share certificate account. It can be used for any purpose but at a reduced interest rate. A hold will be placed on your deposit for the amount of your loan. However your account still earns dividends so your savings continues to grow. As you pay back the loan and reduce your balance the account funds are released so you can use them as needed.
